Low-key and high quality are what come's to mind with Butler's Pantry in Stowe's downtown.  Though lines are expected, know you're in a great location to explore while you wait for your stack of pancakes.

Featuring in-house brewed beer and a warm, inviting atmosphere, Idletyme is close to the mountain and a great choice for lunch on active days of skiing or hiking. Offering tasty shared plates and meat and cheese platters, as well as a variety of salads and entrees, Idletyme is a good option for families and groups.

A fast-casual hot spot, with a unique and intriguing menu. From a falafel bowl to a vegan beet burger, classic mac n’ cheese, plus a variety of burrito and salad offerings, there’s something to please the palate of everyone. 

Shakedown Street BBQ & Grill  features classic barbecue with modern inspiration. This approach, has won over countless fans of the BBQ spot, who's menu features the favorites you expect, along with items for all, including gluten-free and vegan offerings.

One of our favorite spots for an amazing pastry or a delectable breakfast sandwich. It's also our go-to when ordering special sweets for our guests.

If you’re looking for comfort food, pile into a bench at The Bench. In this rustic wood paneled spot, you’ll find classic dishes made with locally sourced ingredients and 22 craft beers from the Green Mountain state and beyond on tap. Wine, cocktails, and cordials are also available.

With all of the great breweries in town, it's awesome to have the option for something a little different...cue Stowe Cider. Offering a "Core Lineup" of ciders, as well as some barrel-aged options and seasonal ciders, Stowe Cider is only a short drive from our hotel.

The second location of this well-known brewery opened in Stowe in July 2016, in order to meet the demand of beer tourists seeking Heady Topper. While Heady is brewed nearby in Waterbury, the Stowe location brews Focal Banger, another popular IPA, and several seasonal styles. Samples and a rotating selection of cans are available.

This trendy coffee shop offers a variety of coffee drinks made with locally roasted beans, as well as a selection of craft beers and light fare.

Coffee buffs rejoice, as The Roastery is your Stowe spot for coffee.  Offering a wide variety of coffee, all roasted in-house,  The Roastery was inspired by the small town feel and gorgeous landscape provided by Stowe.

One of our favorites, and a perfect reason to venture just outside of Stowe. BHAV is the perfect place when you're in need of some serious rest and relaxation during your Stowe visit.

Right in our backyard, the Cady Hill Forest is your Stowe playground for biking, hiking and countless adventures.  Bikers can hop onto the trails from Bluebird Cady Hill and head to the Green Chair Overlook for sweeping area views. 

About 3 miles north of Stowe Village on Route 100, you'll come across the road that will take you to the beginning of Moss Glenn Falls. Although the trail its not marked, the hike itself is easy for anyone, only about 1 mile long.

If you’re hoping to explore the great outdoors, Stowe offers plenty of ways to do so. About a 15-minute drive from Bluebird Cady Hill you’ll find Sterling Falls Gorge. An impressive natural attraction, Sterling is roughly a 45-minute roundtrip walk, with traversing gorges ranging from two to 50 feet and views of waterfalls, cascades, and pools. To make a day of it, head approximately 11 miles southwest and make a stop at Bingham Falls, which offers up a dramatic 40 foot waterfall.

Elevated and elegant bowling, Stowe Bowl is the place. Featuring a modern menu and crafted drinks, Stowe Bowl is the new way to roll with a classic.  Lanes are first come, first served, but you'll enjoy hanging before rolling your next strike. 

The trail to the top is about 2.8 miles and takes around 2 1/2 hours. It's wooded and offers a steady climb to the rock summit. Enjoy views of Camel’s Hump, Mt. Mansfield, the Worcester Range, and the Sterling Range.
